Samsung has annoucned the launch of a new colour variant of its hugely successful flagship device Galaxy S7 edge. In addition to its existing four colours, the smartphone will now be available in Blue Coral colour. The new variants will also come loaded with 15GB free cloud storage. This cloud storage will also be available for existing Galaxy S7 edge users.
The Galaxy S7 Edge Blue Coral will be available in 32 GB variant from December 15, 2016 at a price of Rs. 50,900.
According to Samsung, consumers these days are looking for a stylish smartphone which helps them stand out of the crowd. Keeping that in mind the Blue Coral colour will take desirability and allure to the next level. The new edition follows this year’s colour trends which are less vivid and more tranquil. Inspired by nature, the colour shimmers as if it is illuminated from the inside of the phone’s glass surface. In particular a contrasting gold tone hue is applied to the phone’s metallic frame. The resulting two-toned combination is at once calming and sophisticated.
To refreshen the memory of our readers, the Galaxy S7 edge sports a 5.5-inch QHD Super Amoled display (2560 X 1440 (534ppi) with an Always-On display. It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 8890 64-bit octa-core (2.3GHz quad-core + 1.6GHz quad-core) processor combined with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be extended upto 200GB via microSD card. It is packed with 3,600mAh battery.
It is equipped with a 12MP dual pixel f/1.7 rear camera with smart OIS and a 5MP(F1.7) selfie shooter. It is IP68 certified water and dust resistance device and supports 4G (LTE Cat 9), NFC and MST payment technologies.
