Microsoft has been trying hard to blend in to the social media. And with the introduction of its feature “What’s New” Feed in the latest version of windows live, it has taken one step further in blending itself with social media. The new version of windows live lets you edit all your social updates from one place.

Besides the social media interaction tool embedded in its latest release, it also has many other advantages, some of them being :

  • Hotmail and Outlook in one place - If you use both Microsoft Office Outlook and Windows Live Hotmail, you can have your Hotmail downloaded to Outlook by using Outlook Connector. Save your precious time and check both accounts with one log-in only !
  • IM on the go - You can instant message when you’re away from your computer using Windows Live Messenger. Mobile IM looks and feels similar to Messenger on your PC. Quickly see who’s online, start a group chat, send emoticons, and do more on the go !!
  • Make your own movie - With Windows Live Movie Maker, you can quickly turn your videos and photos into great-looking movies and slide shows. Add effects, background music, and more, then conveniently upload to YouTube with a single click to share with friends.

Besides the above mentioned feature, it does the regular stuff (which i don’t need to tell) of sending and receiving eMails.

All in all, it looks to be a complete package from Microsoft. So, in my opinion you should give it try.

If you have already used it, do let us know you views !!!
