I am a die hard fan of Harry Potter movies and was recently searching for some information on the soon to be released movie ” Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince “.
While searching for the same i was shocked to see hundred’s of torrent sites offering full download of unreleased Harry Potter movie. Not only the torrent portals, file-hosters like Rapidshare, Megaupload and Mediashare were flooded with fake DVD-Rips of the movie !!
Cyber-criminals are adopting mass-level Search-Engine-Optimization techniques and specifically targeting the Harry Potter fans to infect the computers with malicious payloads inside ‘those’ fake downloads offering full-length pre-release version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
The mass-level link-spam lures unsuspecting users to click on the link which leads them to another website asking to install their streaming-codec to watch pre-release leaked version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince online for free which in-fact is a malware and in this way infecting the respective computers.
I would thus want my readers and Harry Potter fans, in specific, to be careful while searching for the details regarding this movie.
