I wrote about Kaspersky Mobile Security in one of my previous posts and Kaspersky’s initiative to giveaway free licenses during world cup season. As it turned out, the free license is valid till the world cup season only 
and frankly it is more or less a trial version for new users.
Anyways, there is yet another popular anti-virus company, F-Secure that is offering free download of its Mobile Anti-Theft suite (Read, Anti-Theft NOT Anti-Virus). F-Secure Mobile Anti-Theft suite offers a varied features as given below:
- Ability to remotely lock, locate and wipe your data in case of theft,
- Local Lock,
- Get informed who stole your phone.
- Lock, locate and wipe your data with just a sms!
F-Secure Anti-Theft Suite is custom made for Symbian, Windows and Android devices. Though, the suite doesn’t have anti virus, mobile virus blocker, etc but it is very useful for protecting your confidential data stored on your mobile device. As mentioned above in the features, F-Secure Mobile Anti-Theft suite also allows you to remotely lock, locate and wipe out your data in case of theft with just an sms, in order to do so all you need to do is send sms as mentioned below in the image to your phone number:
My Opinion
All in all i believe this is a must have application for those who store important information on their mobile devices. This application will devoid the misuser of all the important information which is stored on your mobile phone (Hopefully, you will never loose it 
). Moreover, if the SIM is changed, the thief’s number is automatically reported to you, so that’s a big advantage as well!

I installed F- secure in my Nokia E75 phone, yesterday it locked the phone without any passcode from me, when i tried the default passcode which is suppose to be 12345, it tells me its a wrong code and when i tried “help” it says it will send the code to my trusted number and till now i have not seen anything like that. Please how do i unlock my phone, help me.
Enter the passcode you configured while installing F-secure. Try to connect it with pc and then accessing it using Nokia pc suite. If nothing helps contact F-Secure.

I believe you mean unlock device once it has been recovered. In that case just key in the code that you set at the time on installing the app and it’ll unlock!

Yes you can. I don’t think there should be a problem since both of these programs have different functions. However, note that using both of them will put pressure on RAM usage of your mobile phone.
