As you might have guessed from the post title, this article is about checking the quality of your mobile phone. In this post i will let you know a code, inputting which, will reveal the place where your mobile phone was assembled !
Just follow the below mentioned steps and in no time you will know the country in which your mobile was assembled.
- Press the keys *#06# on your mobile phone.
- Inputting the above mentioned keys will reveal your mobile’s unique International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number.
- Now, check the 7th and 8th digits of your IMEI number. For eg: If your IMEI number is XXXXXXZY, then the 7th and 8th digit will be Z & Y respectively.
- Refer the below mentioned table to know the country where mobile was assembled.
- If the 7th & 8th digits are 02 or 20 — Assembled in Emirates — Bad quality.
- If the 7th & 8th digits are 08 or 80 — Assembled in Germany — Bad but less as compared to 02 or 20.
- If the 7th & 8th digits are 01 or 10 — Assembled in Finland — Good quality.
- If the 7th & 8th digits are 00 — Assembled in ORIGINAL FACTORY – Best Mobile Quality, you can ever get.
- If the 7th & 8th digits are 13 –Assembled in Azerbaijan — Worst quality.
P.S – This code to know IMEI number and country in which it was assembled, as far as i know, works for all mobile phone manufacturers and not just NOKIA. I own a Sony Ericsson and the code was working for me.

Dial *#06# and you will get the imei number. Let me know if you have any other problem

Since your blog is hosted on blogspot and you don’t own a top level domain name therefore you CANNOT get xyz@gamevorm.blogspot.com email address. Regarding registering on alexa, well i dont know what are trying to register and where because when you click on Register tab on alexa site, it does accept gmail and yahoo address’es ( i registered successfully ! ) Also, if you are trying to place a widget, then you can directly do so without even registering.
And paritosh one more thing how do i register with alexa whenever i try that it gave me two option’s 1.send a confirmation mail to my blogspot email address but that doesn’t even exist and 2.it says to put a infotext.htm file into root of my website but in blogspot you can’t do that…….i googled it yahoo it but i couldn’t find anything useful if you know anything about it please tell me THANKS
@Amul You can create an email address for your blog in gmail and submit that for receiving confirmation email. Providing blog email address is not necessary as far as i know. And you cannot put a infotext.html file into root of your website as it is hosted on blogspot.

@Amul I am not sure but 03 represents that your mobile is manufactured in China ( This is what i have read in forums ).
